Meet Corina Barbosa
My Personal Journey
Hi, Iโm Corina Barbosa, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, and trauma. Growing up in South Gate, CA, after being born in Los Angeles, I experienced my own challenges with domestic violence, postpartum struggles, divorce, and anxiety. These personal experiences have shaped my deep understanding of resilience and healing, inspiring me to pursue a career in mental health.

With over a decade of experience, I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care to provide personalized, compassionate support tailored to each clientโs needs. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and regain a sense of control over their lives.

I earned my undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton, and my masterโs degree from the University of Phoenix. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Spanish, Iโm committed to providing inclusive and accessible care to diverse communities. I have a special passion for working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma and those struggling with generalized anxiety.
As part of The Couples Therapy and Reunification Counseling, Iโm dedicated to fostering a strong therapeutic alliance where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
